About Us

For many years we were early adopters of CrossFit methods to create baseline fitness levels and sport specific work.

However; CrossFit and its competition formats moved further away from effective transferable gains leaving our programming being focused on getting better at movement rather then just speed at movement.

OPG was born out of the need for better programming that addressed strength, power and movement while leaving enough for people to get sport specific and life into their day.

Our cardio first approach focuses on developing a superior cardiovascular recovery that will aid in all pursuits.

Our focus on movement progression via strength formats will deliver balanced base strength and power that can be transferred to all pursuits.

Based in Alexandria

Establised, and based in Alexandria since 2014. We cover all facets of training, exercise physiology, private coaching, group sessions, an open gym, and online programming. We focus on strength development, power development, and cardiovascular development.

Functional strength and conditioning movement using barbells, kettlebells, dumbbells, bodyweight movements, pull-ups, push-ups, rope climbs, and rings. Olympic weightlifting instruction and correction.

All with a focus on training concise and effective protocols that transfer to sports and life from corrective to performance gains.

  • Speed and power development to efficiently move the body and external load fast and precisely
  • Mobility and flexibility to aid in movement development and prevent injury
